Handy Andy is a tall fella at 16" tall, 8" wide and 4" deep. He is made with a cool vintage Handy Andy Sexauer Plumbers washer and screw assortment tin that was a hot mess when I found it. The lid was not attached so I had to put a new pin in the latch and straighten out a lot of dents. His legs are cool old brass candlesticks that I had to rethread to use a standard size nut and his arms are pressure gauges I found at a garage sale in a bin of old tools. His head is made with a light kit box I found on the side of the road ready to take out someone's tire. I find a lot of these actually on the road as they fall off contractors trucks. It's crazy actually! Anyway, his facial features are cool old brass gears and random scrapped hardware. The cute Lowe's bucket was an accidental find when I went to the store looking for some nuts and bolts. How could I not get a couple. Too cute for the Handyman in your life!
